This is the blog of the graduate students enrolled in the LLM/MA class on international law and the use of force at the American University in Cairo (AUC). It provides fresh perspectives on current events in the region that relate to the use of force and international humanitarian law, as well as other relevant bodies of international law (such as international criminal law and the law of state responsibility).
This is the first blog of its kind to originate from the Middle East. It provides a unique forum for discussion and debate, allowing students to reflect on and engage with the events that shape their region. As an English-language blog based in the Middle East, it provide an important platform for regional perspectives to be heard.
